Rather than the traditional route, we are doing something different so we can take advantage of the scheduled ferry service.

Departing from the Bridge Steps at Milsons Pt at 7am. Run will be 16km. For those wanting a shorter option Edgecliff Station is about 8km from the starting point. There is an extension option for those wanting to go to the light house at South Head.

We all regroup at Watsons Bay wharf to board the Hop-On Hop-Off red ferry that departs at 9:45 am for Manly. More info here: https://www.captaincook.com.au/info/timetables/ There is also a regular ferry service back to Circular Quay
via Rose Bay. Bring your Opal card.

From Manly you can continue back towards Crows Nest on the Manly to Spit track. There is also an option for an extra 6 km loop via Collins Beach to North Head and back. Or simply get on the 144 bus back home, departing every 10 minutes from Stand G on Belgrave St (not the Esplanade stands).
